Broadband Infrastructure Grant (BIG BEAD)

The revised application round was opened in response to the NTIA BEAD Restructuring Policy Notice. This round invited registered or new applicants to register and submit proposals, or resubmit proposals submitted in the BIG BEAD formal application, for the Benefit of the Bargain round. The goal is to achieve 100% coverage. The registration and the pre-application portal were reopened for new registrants. Registration and pre-application were required to submit a BIG BEAD formal application.

Broadband Access Grant

The Broadband Access Grant application closed in 2022 and projects are anticipated to be complete in the fall of 2026. Digital connectivity is integral to everyday life and necessary for community participation, employment, lifelong learning, and access to essential services. An important requirement of the Broadband Access Grant is for internet service providers to offer low-cost, high-speed, affordable options.
